- Warm Up Journal - How concerned should you be about what you eat / drink? Why? (6-8 sentence Paragraph)
- Teacher Led "Sugar Impacts Myth or Truth" Discussion - Students will be told a common statement about the effects of sugar, asked if this is True or False, explain why in their journals, and then we will discuss as a class.
- Watch the below 11 minute video and list the 5 things you learned and 5 things that you knew already.
Tuesday - Groups C and A will be participating in some guided physical activity at Kilohana Park and will need the following to participate fully:

Look at the following numbers from your “107 Reasons Sugar is Bad for Your Health”, which are all directly related to young people (3, 40, 43, 73, and 81), and answer the following questions:
- Were you aware of these sugar impacts and are they a concern to you? Why or why not?
- Which of these numbers is the most concerning to you? Why?
- Describe a time when you consumed a lot of sugar and experienced any of these effects.
- Will this knowledge change the way you choose your snacks? Why or why not?
(Every answer must be 3-5 sentences minimum)

Station 2:
Choose one of the following numbers, (3, 40, 43, 73, and 81), and sketch a rough draft poster that would help the viewer understand some of the dangers of consuming too much sugar. Make sure your poster includes:
- A clear and concise message

- Educates the viewer about one of the dangers of consuming too much sugar

- Identify the 3 you personally eat the most of from this list of ten. Why are these 3 you consume most?
- How could you adjust your eating behaviors to reduce the amount of these high sugar foods you are currently eating? Are you willing to? Why or why not?
- Were any of these top 10 a surprise to you? Why or why not?
- Which one, of the top 10 is your absolute favorite to eat as a treat? How often do you eat it?
